Home learning

At In Toto Cambridge, we are dedicated to delivering innovative and high-quality educational resources to our students, who range from ages 11-25 and have an Education, Health, and Care Plan (EHCP). Our commitment to providing tailored support is embodied in our use of the Firefly Virtual Learning Environment (VLE), designed to meet the unique needs of our students, both at school and at home.

Support available

Accessible Learning Platform:
Firefly can be accessed through a web browser or via the Firefly app, available on the App Store and Google Play, ensuring students can engage with learning materials wherever they feel most comfortable.

Office365 Integration:
Students can login to Firefly using their school email address and password via the Office365 tab, providing them with direct access to the In Toto Cambridge dashboard. From here, they can navigate subject areas, manage tasks, and keep track of their schedules.

Customised Educational Resources:
Teachers can enhance the learning experience by embedding videos, web links, PowerPoints, documents, and podcasts into lessons, creating an interactive and engaging environment that encompasses each student's needs.

Student-centred learning for SEN

Our approach at In Toto Ed Cambridge is centred on each student's individual learning journey. Firefly supports this by offering flexible access to educational content, which not only empowers students to learn at their own pace, but also aids in the development of essential computer literacy skills, all while keeping their specific educational requirements in focus.

Involving parents and carers

All parents and carers are given logins to Firefly, enabling them to access classroom resources. This feature is designed to assist parents and carers in supporting their child's education and ensuring they stay informed about their progress.
